NEW APP - FAQs
You can download the new Pinter app here: https://pinter.com/thepinterapp . You can also search “Pinter” in the Google Play Store or App Store.
You can now access the instructions at each brewing stage. Just swipe up when you are in the stages to access the relevant instructions.
Yes - your current and historic brewing data has been migrated to our new app. Just make sure you use the same email address used on the old app when logging into the new app.
All of your logged Pinters have been transferred to our new app. For any logged Pinter 3s, please click on them and add your serial number. Make sure you use the same email address when logging into the new app.
All of your brewing data has been migrated to our new app, meaning your current brews won’t be affected. There was a short period of downtime the day before the app launched, so any changes to an ongoing brew after that time may not be up-to-date.
As it stands, your brewing notes will not show in the new app. Don’t worry, this data is still linked to your account and we’ll look to implement these in the new app soon.
To access your current and historic brewing data (including your logged Pinters), please ensure you are using the same email address when logging into the new app as you used in the old app.
Unfortunately, any saved pictures within the old app will no longer be visible in the new app.
The Pinter app has undergone a refresh and now represents our smoothest experience to date. There are also plenty of new features, including a taste test, community tiles and a new rating system. Quick Buy is no longer available in the new app - but don’t worry, you can still access the Shop directly through the app.
The old app is currently out of use and will be discontinued in the coming weeks.

You’ll need the app to access Pinter 3 instructions. The Pinter App is your hub for all things brewing and allows you to log and track all of your brews, letting you know when it’s time to move on to the next stage.
Below is the list of known issues with the current version of the app (1.5.5). We are working to address these as part of our next release, estimated early 2024. Other issues encountered should be raised with our customer support team.
Known app issues
Historical brewing notes not accessible in the Brewing Log. All historical and current brewing data is retained in the app but the notes are not currently visible on the ratings page.
When on an idle Pinter 1 or Pinter 2 - instructions provided are currently for Pinter 3. The standard modal link to Pinter 1 and Pinter 2 instructions should be displayed instead.
Some less common email addresses with multiple subdomains are rejected.
Cannot successfully update gender on the account page.
Push Notifications on Android have a generic circle logo instead of the Pinter logo
