Zero-tolerance policy
Our people at Pinter have the right to carry out their work in a safe and inclusive environment. Any behaviour which is verbal or physical, which causes our people to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened is totally unacceptable.
The zero-tolerance policy includes abuse, harassment or discrimination on the grounds of the following protected characteristics such as: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
Our zero-tolerance policy includes aggression or threats made in person, over the phone, or in written communication. Pinter considers threatening behaviour to be:
- Attempted or actual aggressive threatening physical actions made towards any of our people.
- The use of aggressive, threatening or abusive language (including shouting and swearing) which threatens or intimidates our people.
- Using language that can be considered oppressive e.g. sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, classist etc. - this includes but is not limited to various slurs.
This policy applies throughout the company and also includes any interactions with our customers, suppliers and clients.
Pinter reserves the right to cease correspondence with or do business with anyone who violates the zero-tolerance policy.
