How to return your Core Pinter

+ order your new Core Pinter

This page provides everything you need to know about returning your Core Pinter, how to order your new Core Pinter and how to get brew-ready. You’ll be back to brewing with your new Pinter in just six simple steps.

Please only return your Pinter if you have received an email from us instructing you to do so.

Step 1: Prepare Pinter For Returning

Please return only your Core Pinter and Front Plate*.

To disassemble your Pinter, detach the Core from the Tap, Tap Handle, Hopping Cap, Main Cap, Conical and Brewing Dock. It is very important that you keep the other parts safe at home, as you will only receive a new Core Pinter and Front Plate.

*One of the changes that we've made to the Core Pinter, is to increase the breathing room between the case and the bottle. This change has meant that we've needed to adjust the Front Plate ever so slightly and are therefore providing you with a new Front Plate. All of your old Front Plates will be professionally refurbished so we won't be wasting any of them.

Step 2: Package your Core Pinter

Package your Core Pinter securely. We recommend using a secure box. Each Core Pinter needs to be packaged separately with the corresponding Front Plate.

Step 3: Register your Core Pinter return with DPD

Register your Core Pinter return with DPD. You will have received an email from us including a DPD link and unique return code(s). Please refer to the email to register your return. If you have more than one Pinter, please register them separately.

Step 4: Drop off your Core Pinter at your DPD Local

Drop off your Core Pinter at your DPD Local. Please find your nearest DPD Local drop off here.

Step 5: Order your new Core Pinter

Once you’ve dropped off your Core Pinter(s) via DPD, you’ll receive an automated email with a personal voucher link, within 24 hours. This will allow you to order a new Core Pinter(s) at no cost.

Please note if you’re returning more than one Core Pinter, you’ll receive a personal voucher link for each Core Pinter. These will be sent to you in separate emails.

Step 6: Cleaning your Pinter parts and check your tap

Before putting your parts back into your new Core Pinter, please follow the cleaning instructions carefully on the Pinter app. We also recommend that you check that the tube in your tap has not become welded together. On the very odd occasion, when the tap has been left in the locked position for some time, this can sometimes happen and will affect the beer flowing through the tube in your tap. If your tube has become welded, to release, simply find a blunt-ended objective (such as a chopstick) small enough to fit into the tube to open it up again.

If you have any questions, please refer to our FAQs or get in touch with us.

Can I go back to brewing with carbonation?

Yes, please brew with the carbonation dial setting as instructed on the Fresh Press. You no longer need to brew with reduced carbonation on the OFF setting.

I’ve returned my Core Pinter but have not received my email to order my new Core Pinter?

You’ll receive your email(s) with the link to order your new Core Pinter within 24 hours of dropping off your Core Pinter. Please check your spam folder as it may be there. If you have not received the email(s), please contact our Customer Care team.

What if I don’t have a box?

We recommend sending your Core Pinter back in a box, however, if you are unable to source one, please package it as well as you can using other packaging materials.

I’ve accidentally returned all my parts. Will I get these back?

Only the Core Pinter and Front Plate should be returned to us. If you accidentally include other parts within your return, we aim to return these to you within 2-3 weeks. The parts will be returned to the address that you entered when registering the return with our DPD portal.

Why can’t I purchase other items alongside my Core Pinter?

We have partnered with a separate fulfilment centre for our Core Pinters, meaning that it is not possible for us to fulfil orders with any additional items. Any orders that contain more than just a single Core Pinter will not be fulfilled.

Why do I need to return the Core Pinter and Front Plate but not my other parts?

One of the changes that we've made to the Core Pinter, is to increase the breathing room between the case and the bottle. This change has meant that we've needed to adjust the Front Plate ever so slightly and are therefore providing you with a new Front Plate. All of your old Front Plates will be professionally refurbished so we won't be wasting any of them.

Does this include Co-Pinters?

Yes, your new Core Pinter will replace the core of your Co-Pinter.
